Anyone who has gone through renovation nightmares can understand how scary it is to hire a contractor to work on the most important room of all: the kitchen. Mike came recommended by one of our business acquaintances and from the beginning, my husband and I were thrilled with his approach-ability, professionalism and understanding of our vision and dynamics. Mike worked diligently to draw plans that would capture our dreams of the perfect kitchen and understood our family needs. He was always willing to revise and alter the design and offered great solutions to potential problems. When our floor people messed up calculations and altered counter heights, Mike was able to quickly adjust all numbers. Of course we were also thrilled with his craftsmanship and work quality. But what was probably the most important aspect to us was the fact that we were NEVER without the ability to cook or have access to a sink. When it came time to disconnect our sink and move our stove, Mike planned the whole install around our schedule and our timeline. He installed the stove in the garage and brought in a sink he hooked up just outside our patio door so we could continue to eat healthy. What’s more, these precarious conditions lasted less than 48 hours!
We have many friends who went through similar renovations and none of them had the luxury we felt we had with Mike. Usually people literally camp or eat out for days if not weeks while their kitchen is being renovated. Mike timed his installation such that we were only slightly uncomfortable for 36-48 hours. We would recommend Mike to anyone! We are confident with his work, love his depth of service, are thrilled with his timeliness and are overall greatly satisfied with the end product.
